Program Description:

This is a tour of Peru, led by the faculty of the Concordia University School of Pharmacy. This program will visit hospitals and universities in Lima and Cusco, outposts on the Amazon river, and tour Machu Piccu and Lake Titicaca.

Students who join this program will be required to register for the following course:

PHAR 601 - Global Pharmacy Experience: The Study of Culture and Medicinal Plants of Peru*
*This course is listed in the Fall 2018 semester.

This course is led by Professor Dean Arneson of the School of Pharmacy. Professor Arneson has led numerous similar programs for several years, and is the best person to contact for questions about this program. 


  • This program is open to all students who have successfully completed the first year of the Pharm D program.
  • Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the institution.
  • Must register for the associated course. 
  • Must comply with all deadlines for applications, document submissions, meetings, deposits, and other payments.


  • Program Fees: Between $3,000-3,200
  • Study Abroad Fee: $50
  • iNext Insurance Costs: $40
