Austria is a beautiful country and I am so glad that I took advantage of this opportunity. The experiences I had and the people I met during this trip will stay with me forever. I learned so much from the presentations I attended, the excursions/activities that were included, and just from the people I came in contact with. There were so many interesting, knowledgeable, and friendly people to converse with and learn from and not just from the conference/program. I also loved that our hotel was right in the main city center. The center had so much character and lots of shops and restaurants to explore. The walk to the University was beautiful, too, right along the river. The only thing I didn't like is that I wish I could have stayed longer!

The experience of nine days in Austria was worth more than I could imagine. I was initially embarrassed that I only knew a single language, but I feel I did a good job putting any ethnocentric attitudes to the side and immersed myself in the culture. I learned a tremendous amount during my international experience in Austria, from the structured learning in the conferences to learning from my peers and international people in which I networked and interacted. These experiences expanded my knowledge and understanding in my MBA concentration immensely. Being able to explore this opportunity for my MBA helps me to grow my cross-cultural awareness greater than what could ever be accomplished in any classroom. I enjoyed meeting a wide variety of cultures away from my 'home field'. Being outside the US was a great help to take the focus off my own culture and allowed me to stretch and expand my mind ensuring that I did not hold an ethnocentric mindset.

Food, location, professionals/business people were all wonderful. The outings we went on were amazing. A few of the lecturers from the first confrence left a bit to be desired.

Had a great time on the trip! Was very educational and a great opportunity to network and meet other Concordia students.

Overall, it was a great experience, but I wish we had more time to explore Steyr. Due to the tightly squeezed sessions there was no way for us to do any shopping before or after the lecture sessions because the stores was closed by the time we finished up each day. We only had one day where there was no lectures, but our day was already planned out for us.

Excellent cross cultural conference where there is lots of interaction with multiple countries and exposure to many different personas. A great way to expose one's self to the international side of business and gain real insight and knowledge to how university students abroad live and think. This trip allowed me to understand more about the future markets and countries that I will be potentially working with. Getting this exposure now helped me to realize what stereotypes are true and which are not, which one needs to be able to do even more so as the world continually begins to blend ans morph through the power of technology, transportation, and communication.

This study abroad trip was an awesome experience and I would 10/10 recommend. We had the opportunity to experience the culture of Europe and also attend a business conference with professionals speaking from all over the world. It is a once in a lifetime experience and I am so glad I decided to attend. Definitely worth the money.
