Program Description:
India top
Join Hope Without Borders during winter break for an adventure to India! Trek to remote villages, deliver health care to the needy, and train local pastors' wives in first aid. During the trip, students will also deliver care to the "Railway Children" as well as stop by a leprosy colony to offer medical services. Included in the trip will be time to visit local landmarks and shops.

Leaders

This course is led by Dr. Julia Parve, instructor in the graduate nursing program at Concordia, and founder of Hope Without Borders, a Christian non-governmental organization that provides access to healthcare to people on three continents. Dr. Parve has led this trip for multiple consecutive years. For questions about the program, please email her at: 
 

Requirements

  • This program is open exclusively to graduate nursing students. 
  • Must be in good academic and conduct standing with the institution.
  • Must register for the associated course. 
  • Must comply with all deadlines for applications, document submissions, deposits and other payments.
  • Must be complete the Hope Without Boarders application process. 

Costs

  • Program Fees: $3,900*
  • Tuition (3 credits)**
  • Study Abroad Fee: $50
  • iNext Insurance Costs: $40
*This is an  estimate. Final cost will be determined in late 2017. 
**Graduates will pay the standard per credit rate for the course.

  • Luggage fees for up to 2 checked bags under 50 pounds each (only one checked bag is recommended)
